It's been quite a while, but I think it is time to revive this thing. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update the blog, but I wanted to share a few milestones. Well, one milestone and two small pieces of news.
1. The first draft of The Vessel has been finished for a few months now. Unfortunately there is a lot that needs to be done to fix it. Plenty of sub plots need to be aligned with the ending, certain chapters need to be scrapped and started anew, and a healthy amount of editing needs to be done. The problem with that is...well...I'm broke, so finding someone to edit is a lost cause and secondly, I have like zero time at the moment (I could stop playing competitive Hearthstone though...but that ladder isn't going to climb itself!). My own children have been demanding as of late, which impacts my amount of time to write. Little man is three and baby girl is one and a half and bed time continues to get later and later. So by the time I am done with all that and cleaning house, my mind cannot function at a level that the novel demands. So, I'm trying to get creative, time will tell.
2. I have notes started for book two of the series if this actually becomes a thing. Which is pretty exciting. IF that happens, which is a massive IF, I'd like to see the series wrapped up in three books. I have very rough ideas for a third.
3. I started a few short pieces, one of them I like a lot. I hope to turn that into something bigger. Maybe a stand alone novel. Who knows.
4. I've updated the excerpts from my completed pieces. Mostly to reflect the changes that have been made to The Vessel. Please visit them on this site.
